Linen fabric is so versatile, carefree, and livable that you will love wearing it. Linen is one of the world’s oldest textiles. It is one of the most breathable and absorbent fabrics on the planet, ideal for hot temperatures. With linen, the more you wear it and wash it the softer it gets. And no need to iron-- just wash, dry, and go... Part of the charm of linen is the casual rumpled appearance! The 100% linen fabric used to create these aprons is machine-washed and machine-dried by Laurie several times before apron construction to precondition the fabric. This style of apron is designed to be easy to put on and take off-- with no ties, buttons, or fasteners of any kind. Simply slip the apron over your head like a t-shirt and slide your arms into the generous openings to put it on. The apron rests totally on the shoulders, placing no strain on the neck. The apron fully covers your clothing for protection while you are working around the house but is completely split up the back (to the band at the top) to allow freedom of movement. Extra-large patch pockets are very handy for many purposes. The apron is gathered in front and back where it attaches to the top bands, and it fits many sizes due to its unique design. Many of my customers love to wear this apron as a pinafore top over a t-shirt and leggings. Heirloom quality construction means all raw edges & seams are enclosed for a neater, sturdier, and longer-lasting finished product.

APRON CARE:
100% linen fabric has been pre-laundered by Laurie before cutting. Feel confident that it will not shrink when machine-washed in cold water with mild detergent. Wash dark colors separately. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low heat, removing while still damp. With linen aprons, wrinkles are a desired part of the charm, but you may press (on the wrong side of the apron) with a medium-warm iron if desired.
