Retro 50s Smock Aprons

The Retro 50s Smock Apron is based loosely on a vintage 1950s apron pattern that was in my great-grandmother's collection-- altered by me to fit modern size ranges.  Created with intention-- it's made to gently slip over your head and then tie at the waist to adjust the fit to your liking. Wide straps go over the shoulders and attach to the apron in the back at the waistline. (Shoulder straps are shaped and joined together across the upper part of the back, which is why it is sometimes called an "H back" style of apron.) The apron rests totally on the shoulders, placing no strain on the neck-- making it comfortable to wear all day long.
