Retro 50s Smock (Daisies and Pin-dots in Pink) hostess apron, H-back style doesn't touch neck, XS - 5X

This sweet pink 50s Smock Apron is based loosely on a vintage 1950s apron pattern that was in my great-grandmother's collection-- altered to fit modern size ranges. Customize your apron by choosing to add pockets-- or not! This lovely apron is so easy to wear! This time created using a lovely all-over daisy print combined with a coordinating pink pin-dot fabric. Made to gently slip over your head and then tie at the waist. Wide straps go over the shoulders and attach to the apron in the back at the waistline. (Shoulder straps are shaped and joined together across the upper part of the back, forming a yoke effect.) The apron rests totally on the shoulders, placing no strain on the neck. Curved lower edges of the front panel and sides add interesting scallop detail. This is a larger style apron-- certainly roomy enough for many plus sizes. (Standard size shown above modeled on both size 16 and size 2X dress forms-- looks great on both! ) Very comfortable style to wear. Makes a great gift for the cooking/baking enthusiast on your gift list-- or for a very special treat for yourself-- whether you have a modern or retro kitchen! Great care and attention are paid when I make these aprons-- there are no exposed seams or raw edges showing on my aprons! All seams are neatly enclosed and topstitched for a sturdier and longer-lasting finished product. I do not keep an inventory. This apron is not sewn until after order confirmation. The apron in photos is the original sample sewn to take listing photos. As with any handmade creation, fabric design placement will vary from apron to apron.

SMALLEST SIZE (fits sizes XS/S/M)

♥ Width: 40 in. at the widest point of the hem, 10.5 in. across the chest

STANDARD SIZE (fits sizes L/XL):

♥ Width: 43 in. at the widest point of the hem, 13 in. across the chest

LARGER SIZE (fits sizes 22W - 24W):
♥ Length: 30 in. from top of bib to bottom of the skirt
♥ Width: 46 in. at the widest point of the hem; 14.5 in. across the chest

GRANDE SIZE (fits sizes 26W - 28W):
♥ Length: 30 in. from top of bib to bottom of the skirt
♥ Width: 54 in. at the widest point of the hem; 16 in. across the chest

●✿● OPTIONAL POCKET DETAILS ●✿●
✿ HIP Pockets (Specifically these are called "welt pockets"--like the back pockets on men's dress pants-- most of the pocket is on the inside with only a slim band of contrast fabric showing on the outside of the apron at the top of the pocket.)
✿ KANGAROO pocket (This goes across the front of the apron. The kangaroo pocket will be made using the same fabric as the body of the apron unless you specify in the "NOTE TO SELLER" box that you would like it made in the coordinating/or contrasting fabric to make the pocket stand out. )
✿ You may also choose to add BOTH types of pockets

APRON CARE
Machine wash in cold water with mild detergent. Wash dark colors separately. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low heat. Remove from dryer while still damp to minimize wrinkling. Press with medium-hot iron as necessary.
